Suspect Remains At Large After Wild Police Chase
A police pursuit started early Tuesday morning in Vallejo and continued into Contra Costa County before it ended with several crashes.

VALLEJO - A police pursuit started early Tuesday morning in Vallejo and continued into Contra Costa County before it ended with several crashes in Hercules, according to police.
The suspect is still at large after evading pursuing officers on foot following a series of crashes that occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m. behind a business in the 800 block of Willow Avenue, according to Hercules police.
The suspect vehicle had been pursued from Vallejo onto Interstate Highway 80 by the California Highway Patrol and then through Cummings Skyway in unincorporated Contra Costa County, according to police.

In an attempt to hide from officers, the motorist took the Willow Avenue exit and drove to the rear of a business along the roadway, according to police.
The vehicle was spotted by a CHP officer and the driver again tried to flee, but immediately struck a cement garbage structure and then hit the CHP vehicle, according to police.

After crashing one more time in the parking lot, the suspect fled on foot.Â
