Take the Train To See Baseball Game
Public transportation can make for an easy ride to get to Panther baseball game Monday.

The Panther baseball team will play Rodriguez High for the championship on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Sacramento City College. First pitch is planned for 3 p.m. Parking at Sacramento City College is $5.00. Game tickets are $9.00 for adults, $5.00 students and senior citizens.
Game day is also Memorial day, the last day of the three day weekend. Anyone who's ever come home from the Lake Tahoe area at the end of a long weekend knows how heavy the traffic can be on West bound Interstate 80. Why not use public transportation? Take the train from Marinez. It costs $34 for a round trip ticket.
If you are ambitious you can ride your bike the seven miles to the ball field or you can take light rail and ride your bike or walk the last .8 mile to the ballfield. Either way, you won't have to deal with traffic.
