The Friday Poem: Dreams of … Benicia?...

Each Friday Benicia Patch will publish an original poem. If you would like to submit your own poem please send it to benicia@patch.com.

Dreams of… Benicia…  by Charles Aloysius    (written in 1950....fulfilled in 2000)

I'd like to live in a little house
somewhere in a little town,
Where the people always smile
and you never see a frown.

Where bushes of roses
guide a path to my door.
Magnolias and Morning Glories
form a garden floor.

Where hate is never thought of,
only thoughts of love.
Where the angels have taken
and painted the blue sky above.
