Traffic Advisory: SR-37/I-80 Connector Ramp To Close For Paving

From the Department of Transportation of California: Caltrans has scheduled various overnight ramp closures at the State Route 37 (SR-37) to the Interstate 80 (I-80) connector in Vallejo. The connector closures are scheduled each night between July 29 and August 2. The closures will accommodate work on paving improvements.

For public and worker safety, SR-37 to I-80 ramps will close at 11:00 PM and re-open at 5:00 AM, Monday, July 29 through Friday, August 2. The overnight closures will end with the re-opening of the onramps at 5:00 AM Friday, August 2. Motorists should watch for detour signs and expect delays.

Caltrans is also scheduled to close westbound Columbus Parkway to westbound I-80 and westbound Columbus Parkway to westbound SR-37 during these hours.

The purpose of the closures is to repave the roadway at the onramps to remove bumps and make the road smooth and easy for motorists to navigate.

Detours will be in place to guide motorists. Caltrans thanks motorists for their patience while we work to maintain our state’s highways, bridges and tunnels.
