Traffic Alert: I-80 Big Rig Incident Blocks Lanes Near Hwy 12

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Traffic was being slowed down Tuesday afternoon on Interstate Highway 80 south of Fairfield by of a big rig with its back end open, blocking two lanes, according to California Highway Patrol dispatchers.

The traffic hazard was reported at 3:27 p.m. at I-80 and the westbound connector to Highway 12, and was ongoing as of 3:45 p.m.

A dolly apparently fell out of the truck and into freeway lanes.
