Two Incumbents, Two Newcomers Vie for School Board

The filing period for school board candidates is closed and Benicia voters will have four candidates to choose from to fill two seats.  The last candidate to file, Gary Wing, put in his papers and took his candidate oath on Friday, Aug. 12.

Here are the candidates for Benicia School Board:

• Board member , first elected in 2007, has filed her candidacy papers with the County Registrar of Voters.
• Board President , first elected in 2007, has filed his nomination papers.
