'Unseasonably Warm Temps' Forecast For Benicia, Bay Area

BENICIA, CA — Weather officials are warning Bay Area residents to prepare for some unseasonably hot weather in the coming days. The "rapid warming trend" throughout northern and southern California is expected to peak on Tuesday, but temperatures will likely remain above normal through the end of the work week, "and perhaps into the weekend," according to the National Weather Service. Currently, it's expected to remain dry through Halloween.

As for Benicia in particular, here's what you can expect weather-wise through Sunday, NWS Bay Area forecasters say:

Sunny, with a high near 86. East northeast wind 7 to 9 mph.

Clear, with a low around 60. East wind around 6 mph becoming calm.

Sunny, with a high near 89. Northeast wind 6 to 9 mph.

Clear, with a low around 59. Light and variable wind.

Wednesday
Sunny, with a high near 83. Light northeast wind.

Clear, with a low around 57.
