Vallejo DMV To Reopen Next Week

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – The California Department of Motor Vehicles will reopen the Vallejo field office, at 200 Couch St., on Monday, Aug. 22 at 8 a.m.

The office closed on July 29 for heating, ventilation and air conditioning system improvement and acoustical ceiling tiles replacement. Security cameras and the electronic Queuing system also were upgraded to include new monitors and speakers, according to staff. And ... the public restrooms received a coat of fresh paint!

The DMV reminds customers online services at www.dmv.ca.gov are available that may customers a trip to a DMV field office, including renewing a vehicle registration and driver license, completing a change of address, requesting a driver record and making an appointment.

Until the Aug. 22 reopening, customers can visit the following nearby offices:

• Napa: 2550 Napa Valley Corporate Drive;
• Fairfield: 160 Serrano Drive;
• El Cerrito: 6400 Manila Avenue;

• Vacaville: 621 Orange Drive;
