Vallejo Entrepreneurs and Business Professionals Toastmasters

It has been an uphill battle trying to start the New Vallejo Entrepreneurs and Business Professionals Toastmaster Club, but in less than a month and by the third meeting, they were able to get it done!

Joann Bradley, CEO of Words for Life Coaching in Benicia is chartering the club with Toastmasters International, and she is also sponsoring and mentoring the club. The co-sponsor, Marc Ventura is a Chemical Engineer and a Fuel Issue Advisor for Phillips 66.

“This is a groundbreaking event and all the members are very excited to start this specialty club that is the first of its kind for Toastmasters in the city of Vallejo. This all started with networking and finding out that a number of local business owners in the Solano County area were unaware of Toastmasters existence,” says Joann Bradley, who is also an Area Director for Toastmasters. “It is an international organization that is known for growing leaders and helping people improve their public speaking skills. When I mentioned starting a new club for business owners and business professionals, everyone was just so excited to make this happen.”

“Our vision is to provide a professional club that is fun, friendly, and offers the opportunity for individuals to increase their confidence, grow as leaders, and to improve their public speaking skills in a supportive environment. It is also a chance to network, improve business presentations and communication.”

The club meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month at Green Hive Spaces, 425 Virginia St, Vallejo, Ca at 6:30pm to 7:30pm. This club is open to all, and should you decide to join, there are membership dues. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The club currently has 23 local entrepreneurs and business professionals as members. The first official meeting on June 19^th was a great success!
