Vallejo Man Arrested In Winters Burglaries
The suspect reportedly walked into the home of an elderly resident.

Solano County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Vallejo man this week after he was found allegedly trespassing on private property in unincorporated Winters.
Deputies were called to the 4800 block of Bowman Road Wednesday shortly after midnight by a resident reporting someone trespassing on private property, according to the sheriff’s office.
A second call came in while the deputies were still en route reporting a person inside another home in the same area. When they arrived, deputies found 38-year-old Ryan Barbosa standing in the road.

They attempted to take him into custody but he allegedly struggled with deputies, causing one deputy to suffer a minor knee injury, sheriff’s officials said. Investigators believe Barbosa walked through one property and was chased away by the first property owner who called.
He then allegedly walked into another home nearby and confronted an elderly female resident, who told him to get out and followed him outside. Barbosa had property belonging to the victim in his possession at the time of his arrest. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary and resisting arrest, according to the sheriff’s office.
