VALLEJO, CA — The city of Vallejo and the First Baptist Church Vallejo will open to people and pets Wednesday at 6 p.m. as a warming shelter. Sixty beds will be available until 6 a.m. Thursday. The overnight shelter opens during extreme temperature, rain and wind. The church will provide a cot, blanket and warm soup. Everyone is welcome regardless of gender, identity, ethnicity, income or religious affiliation. The church is located at 2025 Sonoma Blvd. in Vallejo.
