This week's Benicia Whiz Kid: Wade Jarmel

Accomplishment: Wade is a fierce and fearless competitive downhill mountain bike race. He's been riding for six years and competing for three years. “My uncle owns bike shop, so my cousin and I began racing,” says Wade. His most recent competition was a national contest in Fontana a few months back, Wade placed first in his division. He is now moving on to the expert level, just one level below pro.

Key to Wade's awesomeness: “You just have to not care and go for it,” says Wade. “You can't hold back.”
