"Both have hearts of champions.  They have to be considered the greatest batters in school history.  They won and saved over 25 games together in their 3-year varsity career.  Neither one ever-played JV baseball.  They developed so quickly that they went straight from our freshman team to Varsity starters as sophomores."

"They were not going to allow us to lose this year after dealing with such heart-breaking defeats the previous two years.  The big games that both of them had is a testament to their will to win.  I know they felt they had to put an "exclamation point" on their careers with a section championship."

"They also took the younger players under their wings and helped teach a very young team how to win and how to play with pride.  They led by example with a stellar work ethic and a commitment to our program that was second-to-none.  As human beings they are both of the utmost character.  They are a coaches dream because they listen to every request and then go above and beyond when carrying it out."

"They both are going to have opportunities to play baseball after high school.  Whoever is lucky enough to have them as student/athletes in the future is going to be very happy.  I will miss them both tremendously.  What they did for our program and for our school is immeasurable."

"I will miss them as athletes, but I am going to miss them as people more than anything.  They have left behind a great legacy that I know the younger players will carry on in the future.  They are the special types of players that will leave a lasting mark on our program long after they are gone."
