Justin:

How old are you? I am 19

How long have you lived in Benicia? For 11 years

Where did you grow up? I lived in Vallejo.

What do you do? I am the vocalist, guitarist and pianist for the band Nights on First.

Who influences you musically? We try to draw from all genres of music.

Other than music, what do you do for fun? I don't know, I don't have any fun other than music now.

What do you like about Benicia? I like the small community. Just playing down here on First Street, we now half the people that walk by.

Ryan:

How old are you? I am 19

How long have you lived in Benicia? For 11 years

Where did you grow up? I lived in Vallejo until I was about six.

What do you do? I play guitar and I'm the lead singer. I also write the lyrics so I guess I'm a singer/songwriter, but that sounds cheesy. Since we're on First Street performing, today I'm a starving artist/singer/songwriter on the street corner.

What do you do for fun? Everyone in our band plays video games so we all hang out. We're friends too so we do everything together, random things. Personally I like other forms of art. I draw.

Who are your musical influences? Say Anything, Bayside, John Mayer- some of his blues influence.

Other than First Street, where else do you play? We just played the Wednesday Night Celebration in Vallejo and we play Redhouse in Walnut Creek frequently. We are playing Rocket Room in San Francisco on August 27 and have some other shows lined up.
