What kind of work do you do? I'm a real estate broker at , a family-run business.

How long have you been in real estate? I've been in business a long time, 24 years now. I love real estate. I love selling to first time home buyers.

Do you participate in any community activities? I'm a big supporter of , Reach Out Benicia and I'm on the Ad Hoc Committee for Tourism.

What do you do for fun? My passion is art, all forms of art. I love painting. I do acrylic and mixed-media,  but right now I'm really into encaustic with mixed-media. That's my niche. I started the encaustic painting group for us ladies... , Cherry Moore. We had a show a , it was so much fun.

What is something most people don't know about you? I am actually quite shy. I'm a down-to-earth person really.

What are your favorite places in Benicia? I love the for the art shows, I always come for the art receptions. I love upstairs, I love to have a glass of wine and maybe a salad. I also love . The artichoke tapenade is my favorite.

What do you love about this town? Over the years, when I had children in school, I loved that it was a small community and I knew the parents, even after the kids grow up and move away. It's a community where... no matter where you go, you're going to run into someone you know. You can go for a bowl of soup downtown on First Street and run into people. People are always warm and comforting here.
