Young Benicia Panthers roll over St. Mary's Panthers.

The JV boys came away with a 59-41 win over St. Mary's of Albany on Tuesday night.

Benicia stretched an eight point halftime lead to 23 points at the end of the third quarter outscoring St. Mary’s 25-10 during that span.  Leading scorers for Benicia were Derek Johnstone with 19 points and Michael Mitchell with 16 points.  The win moved Benicia to 3-0 on the season.  Next up for the JV is a tournament in Folsom starting tonight.

The varsity also beat St. Mary's 66-53. Their next game is tonight in Modesto.
