BERKELEY, CA — The Berkeley Police Department marked the sixth anniversary of the murder of Alex Goodwin Jr. by reminding the public that a $50K reward is offered in the case.
Goodwin was a 22-year-old aspiring rapper when he was shot outside his grandmother's home just before midnight on Aug. 18, 2016.
He was transported to a hospital where he died a few hours later.

"Detectives believe there are individuals with information about this case and are asking for their help," police said in an announcement to the public. "Even the smallest detail could be critical in solving this crime."
