Alleged Drug Dealer Arrested By Berkeley Police
He had a loaded gun, drugs and thousands of dollars in cash when arrested, police say.

BERKELEY, CA — Officers arrested a man on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale and carrying a loaded and concealed firearm in Berkeley Wednesday, police said.
An officer patrolling the area around Willard Park at 5:39 p.m. recognized a man sitting in an SUV with the windows down on Regent Street near Derby Street, according to police. The officer, who knew the man was on probation, conducted a search and discovered several thousand dollars in his pants, police said.
Continuing the search with the assistance of other officers, the officer allegedly found a loaded .45-caliber handgun in the SUV, powdered cocaine and other paraphernalia related to drug sales, according to police.

The officer arrested the suspect, Terry Beasley, 38, of Alameda, on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, carrying a loaded and concealed firearm, possession of controlled substances while armed with a
loaded firearm, violating probation and other gun-related crimes.
