The series kicks off with "Wicked: For Good" at Strawberry Creek Park, followed by "The Color Purple" the following week on June 20.

The rest of the schedule is as follows:

Movies are shown on a 20-foot-by12-foot inflatable screen. Officials recommend attendees bring blankets, sleeping bags or low beach chairs to best enjoy the screening.

Officials recommend arriving at the parks 30 minutes early.

Parking may be limited in the surrounding areas, so its recommded people take public transit or another form of travel, such as scooters or bikes.

Dogs are also welcome, but must be on a leash, city officials said. No alcohol will be allowed, they added.
