BERKELEY, CA — The Berkeley community carnival returns in July with bunnies, goats, games and live music for children.
The free event takes place on Wednesday, July 1, at Grove Park.
City officials say the event will be jam-packed with free activities for kids and teens. Carnival games include Plinko and knockdown, while food options will include Fuddruckers' beef and veggie burgers, hot dogs, chips, popcorn and drinks.
Some events at the carnival will be capped at certain ages. For example, inflatables will be available for children 14 and under, while the petting zoo will only be for those seven and under, city officials said.
This is one of many free events offered by the Berkeley Park, Recreation and Waterfront Department.
The department is also hosting free weekly evening movies in Berkeley parks each Friday.
Attendees must pre-register for the event here.
