Horse Trainer Accused Of Sexually Abusing 14-Year-Old At East Bay Stables: Report

OAKLAND, CA — A horse trainer is facing a litany of charges, including possession of child porn, after being arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing an underage girl, according to an East Bay Times report.

Justen Lewis, 37, was charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, arranging to meet a minor for sex, committing lewd acts on a 14-year-old child and possessing child pornography, according to the report. He pleaded not guilty to the charges on Tuesday and remains jailed without bail, according to the report.

Lewis, who worked as a trainer at Piedmont Stables, is accused of sexually abusing the teen for months at stables, trails, and on secret hotel trips, according to the report.

During at least one instance, Lewis said he was taking the girl horse-riding, but instead got a hotel room for them in Oakland, according to the report.
