There, the suspect stole multiple unattended electronics and then left the area before officers arrived, police said.

Police on Thursday released a photo of the person they suspect stole the electronics. They appeared to be wearing a blue hat, a checkered shirt, blue jeans and a face mask in the photo.

UCPD asks that anyone who may have more information about the incident should contact the agency at 510-642-6760.

The incident happened hours after someone broke into Jacobs Hall and tried to steal electronics, but was startled by an employee who called police, authorities said.

That suspect left the scene on a scooter, police said. Police did not say whether these incidents were connected in any way.
