BERKELEY, CA — The Berkeley Women, Infants, and Children program will host a free, family-friendly WIC-NIC on Friday for low-income families with young children and people who are pregnant or were recently pregnant.
The event begins at 1 p.m. at George Florence Mini Park, 2121 10th St., in Berkeley.
It will offer free food, lactation counseling, diapers and information about WIC services.
The picnic is open to low-income people who are or were recently pregnant, as well as families with children younger than 5.
