Bay Area Woman, 19, Reported Missing
The former University of California, Berkeley student was last seen in San Francisco.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A former University of California, Berkeley student has not been seen or heard from since Sept. 29.
Sydney "Syd" West, 19, was until recently a UC Berkeley student. She was living in San Francisco with friends, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina.
West moved from Pleasanton to North Carolina with her family, Pleasanton Weekly reported.

West was last seen at Chrissy Field in San Francisco.
She is likely wearing dark shorts, slip-on Vans and has her hair in a ponytail, according to the sheriff's office. She is 5'10", weighs 130 pounds, has blue eyes and has light brown hair. She may be carrying a black backpack.

West has been reported missing in San Francisco and North Carolina, the sheriff's office said.
