Bonnie Lockhart is a Bay Area singer, songwriter, educator
and activist. She sang with the anti-war folk group, the Red Star Singers;
toured and recorded with women’s music groups The Berkeley Women’s Music
Collective and Swingshift, and continues to get folks singing in this
millennium with her pals in Occupella. Her original songs, infused with her
love of international folk music and American jazz, have been widely recorded
and anthologized. Her musical work with both
children and adults embodies her belief in the transformative power of
participatory music. http://www.bonnielockhart.com/
