SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH — A woman was killed by her boyfriend in an apparent murder-suicide in their home in Salt Lake City Sunday night, according to Salt Lake City police.
Officers found the bodies of 27-year-old Sarah Hawley and 30-year-old Travis Geddes after a downstairs neighbor called police at 8:28 p.m. to report yelling and screaming, Salt Lake City police said.
When the officers arrived, it was clear that Geddes had killed Hawley before killing himself, Detective Greg Wilking said. Police are not releasing the cause of death but said that there was a weapon involved.
