Berkeley Man Arrested By BART Police

BERKELEY, CA — BART Police arrested a Berkeley man at the Bay Fair station in San Leandro on Sunday.

Police report that they detained a man for fare evasion. They learned that the suspect had an outstanding $15,000 misdemeanor warrant.

Osvaldo Gil, 42, was cited for fare evasion and arrested on the warrant. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

Information on the warrant is not immediately available.
