Berkeley PD Arrests Suspect For Brandishing An Axe

Berkeley, California (Wednesday, February 24, 2021) - On February 19th at 9:15 pm, officers responded to the 2500 block of Parker Street on a report of a suspect hitting vehicles with an axe. Officers found the suspect on the 2400 block of College Avenue and found the axe discarded nearby. The suspect (a 29-year-old man, no address) was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a weapon and two outstanding arrest warrants.
