Berkeley Woman Rejects 'Satanic' License Plate

Bobbie Larkins drove the demonic digits back to the DMV. Here's how they responded to her complaint.

A woman in Berkeley believed her new license plates ending in 666 were a bad omen so she says she brought them back to the local DMV to be reissued, according to KPIX 5.

The plates, which were randomly issued by the DMV to Bobbie Larkins, are among many that generate complaints at the DMV each year.

During her interview, Larkins told KPIX, “666 is symbolic of the devil or the anti-Christ.”

KPIX reported the DMV replaced the plates, even waiving the standard $20 replacement fee. Read the full story here.
