Cal Bears Announce First Home Conference Game of 2014

The Pac-12 has announced that Cal’s first home conference game of the 2014 season on Saturday, Sept. 27 will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks. Kickoff time from Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley is 1 p.m. PT. Audio broadcasts of all Cal football games are also available on KGO 810 AM, the Cal IMG Sports Network, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and online at CalBears.com via TuneIn.

Cal is off to a 2-0 start after the first two weeks of the 2014 season after non-conference wins at Northwestern and against Sacramento State. After a bye last week, Cal will open conference action at Arizona also on Pac-12 Networks this Saturday, Sept. 20 (7 p.m. MT/PT).

Cal and Colorado will be meeting for the seventh time in history with Cal leading the all-time series, 4-2. The Golden Bears have won both meetings in Berkeley with a 52-7 victory the last time the teams played at Memorial Stadium in 2010 and a 10-0 win in the first ever meeting between the teams in 1968.

Cal’s 2014 schedule also includes a pair of primetime weeknight matchups.

Cal and Oregon will play the first-ever collegiate football game at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara on Friday, Oct. 24 (7 p.m. PT). The contest will be televised by FOX Sports 1.

Cal and USC will square off on ESPN at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, Nov. 13 (6 p.m. PT.).

Times and broadcast networks for all other remaining games are scheduled to be announced either six or 12 days in advance of each contest. Every Cal football game will be televised this season.

Cal will also play Pac-12 opponents Washington (Oct. 11), UCLA (Oct. 18) and Stanford (Nov. 22) in Berkeley before concluding its 2014 regular season by hosting a non-conference game against BYU (Nov. 29).

Other Pac-12 road contests include Washington State (Oct. 4) and Oregon State (Nov. 1).
