NorCal vs. SoCal: Cal-UCLA Game to Air on ABC, ESPN2

The Pac-12 announced Monday that Cal’s home game against UCLA on Saturday, Oct. 18 will be televised regionally by ABC and on a reverse mirror by ESPN2 with television coverage maps to be distributed later this week.
Kickoff time from Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley is 12:30 p.m. PT. Audio broadcasts of all Cal football games are also available on KGO 810 AM, the Cal IMG Sports Network, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and online at CalBears.com via TuneIn.

The contest against the Bruins will also serve as the annual Joe Roth Game honoring the late former Cal quarterback who is the only player in school history to have his No. 12 jersey retired.
Cal is 4-1 overall and in sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 North with a 2-1 conference record following last Saturday’s thrilling 60-59 win at Washington State, marking the first time the Golden Bears have been in first place three games into the conference slate since 2006 when the Bears won their first six league contests.

The Bears have also won four of five games to begin the season for the first time since 2008 and received votes in both the latest AP Top 25 and USA Today Poll released Sunday. Cal received six and four votes, respectively, and is receiving votes in the national polls for the first the first time since the fourth week of the 2011 season.
Cal has defeated UCLA each of the last seven times the teams have played in Berkeley, most recently with a 43-17 victory over the eventual Pac-12 South Division champs in 2012. The Bears have also won four of the last six meetings overall, while UCLA leads the all-time series, 51-32-1.
Cal returns home to Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium for its next game for Homecoming on Parents & Reunion Weekend this Saturday, Oct. 11 (3:00 p.m. PT). The game will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks.
The Bears will also play a home contest against Oregon in the first-ever collegiate football game at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara on Friday, Oct. 24 (7 p.m. PT, FOX Sports 1).
Cal begins November with a pair of road contests at Oregon State (Nov. 1) and USC (Nov. 13, 6 p.m. PT, ESPN) before returning home for their final two games of the regular season against Stanford (Nov. 22) and BYU (Nov. 29).
Times and broadcast networks for Oregon State, Stanford and BYU contests are scheduled to be announced either six or 12 days in advance of each game.
