Berkeley Baroque Strings Presents A Handel Extravaganza!

Join the Berkeley Baroque Strings for a program celebrating the works of George Frideric Handel. Bay area resident Arthur Omura is the featured guest soloist performing the Organ Concerto in B-flat. "Da Tempeste" from Giulio Cesare, and "Waft Her, Angels" from Jeptha highlight Handel’s arias. Concerti Grossi, op. 6, no. 9 and no. 12, along with selections from the popular Water Music, round out the program.

Berkeley Baroque Strings is pleased to participate in the Berkeley Early Music Festival Fringe Concerts with its June 6th performance.

Under the music direction of Kati Kyme, longtime member of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Cantata Collective, and New Esterhazy Quartet, the chamber orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.
