Carjacking At Gunpoint Reported In Berkeley

The carjacking happened Monday night.

BERKELEY, CA — Police are investigating a carjacking in the Southside area of Berkeley on Monday night.

The University of California Police Department said in an advisory that the theft occurred shortly after 10:45 p.m. in the area of Dwight Way and College Avenue.

A victim was robbed of a vehicle by three suspects, including one armed with a gun. The suspects fled the area in a white sedan and the victim's car, police said.
