Berkeley, California (Tuesday, November 09, 2021) - Use our online survey to give input on how we can change four streets on the south side of campus to incorporate the needs of bicyclists, pedestrians, bus riders and local businesses.

For the sections of Telegraph Avenue, Bancroft Way, Fulton Street, and Dana Street closest to campus, we ask how you travel to and from those areas, and we ask for your input on designs.
Each road is different. For example, options being considered for Bancroft include a protected bike lane, a dedicated bus lane, and a parking lane.

Goals and changes for Southside streets
- Ensure safety for all persons walking, riding bicycles, riding transit, or driving, consistent with the City of Berkeley Vision Zero traffic safety policy
- Improve transit reliability and travel times consistent with the City of Berkeley General Plan Transportation Element Policy T-4 "Transit-First"
- Support the economic and cultural vitality of Berkeley's Southside neighborhood consistent with the Economic Development goals of the City of Berkeley Southside Plan
