Grab your golden ticket and get ready to groove to a world of pure imagination. This summer, Berkeley Playhouse is a delicious Candyland mixed with lemon drops and a miracle or two as Roald Dahl’s magical story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory comes to life in a funkadelic musical. Willy Wonka features singer/songwriter, Vernon Bush in the title role as well as an exciting cast of youth and adult actors, aerial acrobats, and bungee jumping Oompah Loompahs. Talk about your childhood wishes! (Wonder if you can eat the dishes?) Director Elizabeth McKoy plans to take this classic to the max! This is a summer event not to be missed!
