Donation Yoga Class with Daisy Hunt benefiting Sage Organization
Bio: Initially, attracted to the physical forms and challenge of yoga asanas, her practice, grounded in desire, began in New York City. After years of unskillfully moving from posture to posture, yoga eventually sparked the vital mind-body connection that led her to her Guru in Mysore, India. Whether it is an Ashtanga inspired Vinyasa or a rhythmic Hatha Flow, Daisy’s classes feature the core spiritual elements of the original practice, transmitted in modern language. Her style carries a sense of poetic playfulness and offers students the mental space, which can lend to deep
internal focus and the promotion of healing. Her classes are about helping students, utilize their breath and exploit it’s ability to guide them towards building physical strength, flexibility and awareness. Daisy is committed to sharing her practice with all peoples, and is always in search of ways to employ yoga, meditation and the sacred teachings to impact the local and world community. She is thankful to all her past teacher’s, most of all, Guy Donahaye, Sharath and Saraswati Jois. Their guidance has enabled her to be a living example of a person who can liberate her spirit from physical and emotional wounds to live more in harmony with her surroundings. TASMAI SHRI GURUVE NAMAH.
