FREE! Appreciating Diversity Film Series, "Salaam Dunk"

Salaam Dunk is the story of a college women's basketball team in war-torn Iraq — and it's simultaneously about a group of young women searching for identity, the bond between an inspirational coach and a devoted team, and a country trying to move beyond a tragic past. Step into the lives of these women as they wrestle with both new opportunities, and challenges they've never before faced. San Francisco filmmaker DAVID FINE will also be there to take everyone behind the scenes.

"A stirring example of the possibilities for young Iraqis outside the country's war zones." — Variety
