The Ingenuity Lab at Lawrence Hall of Science is a place where you can discover how the world around us works. Find out how engineers and scientists solve challenges and find new ways of doing things. Engage your creative brain and use a variety of materials to design, build, and test your own innovations. Work with students from the Berkeley Engineers and Mentors (BEAM) program to brainstorm ideas, build a prototype, and then test your design as you work to find your own solution to these engineering challenges.
March: Robotics
Work with UC Berkeley’s Pioneers in Engineering to build a robot! With enough persistence, you’ll be able to create a robot that can climb a steep hill.
April: Rockets
Design and build a rocket, then test your aiming skills. Once you’ve come up with a good design, can you reliably build multiple rockets to consistently hit your target?
