Ménage 2012 is a full stage production with superb live world music and dance. The show is produced by Rebecca Vasile, a local artist who tours internationally with The Bellydance Superstars and who has also been chosen to be the opening dancer for Aerosmith this August. Vasile has summoned some of the best Arabic and world fusion musicians in the Bay Area to rock the seats of all you music lovers out there. Bashir Shahin and Band will bring the best in Arabic classics with tantalizing ouds, tablas and violins. Meanwhile, Freddy Clarke and friends from Wobbly World (the band opening for Aerosmith at the Oakland Oracle Arena this August 4th) are going to enchant us with melodies from Bulgaria, Spain, and China. Dancers include nationally renowned flamenco dancer, Fanny Ara, Nathalie Tedrick from the Bellydance Superstars, Ahava, Kendra Katz, Avery Lamar, Krysta Cook, Laura Lopez-Ayllon and Rebecca Vasile herself.
