
More than 100 local dance companies will showcase their work during four days of auditions for the 2013 San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival. (The first weekend of auditions is being held in Berkeley.) This is a great opportunity to experience the vast range of dance sustained in Northern California.
Artists will present their very best work, in full costume, and many with live musical accompaniment, and anyone can watch.
Audience members will have the chance to experience dance styles from throughout the world, from sizzling flamenco, fancy trick roping from the American Southwest, Hawaiian hulas, Bollywood-inspired Indian dance and much, much more.
