Secrets of Life and Death

The award-winning documentary film series, Secrets of Life and Death is screening at the First Congregational Church of Berkeley on three Tuesdays in March starting March 13th. Filmmaker/speaker Dr. Michelle Peticolas will be present at each screening to lead a discussion on the transformational potential of opening to the experiences of dying. In the first film of the series, Facing Death . . . with open eyes, showing March 13, four insightful people uncover profound truths about living while coping with illness and dying.

Film two, Caring for the Dying: the art of being present, will screen on March 20. Find a primer for success and a recipe for forgiveness as three people share their best and worst stories of caregiving.

On March 27, The Heart of Grieving takes us on a journey from diagnosis, to death, to mourning, as four individuals recall the arduous, and at times ecstatic, process of witnessing and grieving death.
