On Father's Day, Sunday, June 19, Desco in Old Oakland will be open from 3:00 to 9:30 PM serving their regular a la carte menu plus, beginning at 5:00 PM, a three-course ($48.00) or four-course ($60.00) prix fixe tasting menu with choices that will include slow braised beef cheek with fried chick pea purée, wild greens and roasted jus; black pepper dough tagliatelle pasta with ahi tuna and fava bean ragout, and tarragon olive oil; grilled pork chop with rosemary-preserved roasted carrots and pork demi-glace; and a dark chocolate, hazelnut and bourbon tarte with house-made caramel gelato. All prices exclude tax and gratuity.
