Fire Burns One Acre In Tilden Park
Firefighters, in the dark, got the fire extinguished before it could take off.

BERKELEY, CA — Berkeley firefighters attacked a small fire in the Berkeley Hills overnight, getting it extinguished before it could explode like the ones in the North Bay.
The fire burned just over an acre in Tilden Park.
The flames, in the area of Ajax Place and Golf Course Road, were out by about 5:30 a.m.
