Food Business Entrepreneurial Training Academy (FBETA) - Consumer Packaged Goods (Hayward)

Alameda County Small Business Development Center Free Seminars

The Alameda County SBDC and the Alameda County Community Development Agency offer a free ten-part seminar on “Running Your Own Food Business” for participants interested in launching and growing food businesses in unincorporated Alameda County.

Attendees of eight of the ten sessions will be eligible to receive a “Certificate of Completion” for the series. You are welcome to also attend the individual sessions if you are not completing the full seminar program.

In this session, you will learn about Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and how to prepare your product to sell in stores, including:

a. Product Registration
b. Ingredient Analysis
c. Labeling
d. Using Co-packers
e. Penetrating retail markets
