Former Cal Football Players Play In First Pro Bowl
Anderson, Forsett and LaDouceur played in the first Pro Bowl of their NFL career Sunday at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

Former Cal football players C.J. Anderson, Justin Forsett and L.P. Ladouceur all played in the first Pro Bowl of their NFL career Sunday at the University of Phoenix Stadium. Anderson’s Team Irvin was a 32-28 winner over Team Carter with Forsett and Ladoucuer. Marshawn Lynch and Aaron Rodgers were also Pro Bowl selections but did not play in the game.
Anderson had five rushes for 16 yards in the contest, while Forsett co-led his squad with 31 yards rushing on three carries and added 53 yards receiving on five carries. Ladouceur was the long snapper for Team Carter.

Lynch (Seattle) and Shane Vereen (New England) will face each other in Super Bowl XLIX this Sunday, February 1 (4:30 pm MT/3:30 pm PT, NBC) also at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
Cal has now had at least one former player on a Super Bowl roster 13 times in the last 14 seasons. Lynch will be playing in the Super Bowl for the second consecutive season with his defending champion Seahawks, while Vereen was a rookie with the Patriots during Super Bowl XLVI but did not play in the game.
