Free Coffee With A Cop In Berkeley Thursday

The event aims to strengthen connections within the community.

BERKELEY, CA — Are you happy with the Berkeley Police Department's efforts to deal with assaults, organized retail theft and other crimes?

Have you noticed a police officer going above-and-beyond to help you or a neighbor?

On Thursday you will have the chance to tell the police department directly as they participate in Berkeley Coffee with a Cop.

You are asked to stop by Fourth Street Plaza between 1 and 3 p.m. for a conversation aimed at strengthening connections in the community.

"We're looking forward to great coffee and even better conversations with members of the community," the police department said in a social media post. "So come down and have a cup of coffee with us!"
