Grizzly Peak Armed Robbery Reported: Police

Police say that two suspects each had handguns.

BERKELEY, CA — University of California police are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery Sunday night near a popular lookout point in the Berkeley Hills.

Police Sgt. Thomas Wing said that at about 6 p.m. Sunday, two suspects, each wielding a handgun, approached two other people near signpost 14 on Grizzly Peak Boulevard, and demanded (and received) undisclosed personal property items. The victims were not injured.

The suspects then got into a car and drove away south on Grizzly Peak Boulevard, Wing said.
