BERKELEY, CA — John Muir Health and University of California at San Francisco Health announced this morning that they've opened a new facility for outpatient care in Berkeley.
Patients suffering from conditions that are not life-threatening and who do not need to spend the night in a hospital will be able to make same-day appointments for urgent care or just walk in to the Berkeley
Outpatient Center at 3100 San Pablo Ave.
There's also validated parking and easy access to transportation. The staff includes seven family doctors who've been trained to care for newborn babies as well as geriatrics. They're also planning to add a
nurse practitioner in September.
