Ladder To Misery: I-80 Traffic Trouble In Berkeley

BERKELEY, CA — You've heard the old song, "Stairway to Heaven?" Out on the roads you'll find a ladder to Hades. You know what Hades translates to.

The CHP is reporting that a ladder fell into traffic on I-80 westbound, right at the connector to Ashby Avenue. You guessed it - a major traffic backup.

The ladder should be removed soon, but the backup typically takes a long time to clear even after the obstruction is removed.

Expect your commute to be slower than usual.
