Lake Chalet Hosts "Oktoberfest on the Lake" with Steins, Pretzels and 30 Piece Band

Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill in Oakland hosts the first annual “Oktoberfest on the Lake” celebration on Saturday, October 17. There will be free live musical entertainment from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. by Deutscher Musikverein, a 30 piece traditional German “oom-pah” band. Guests will also be able to purchase a one liter souvenir Lady of the Lake decorative beer stein filled with ale (drink the ale, keep the stein).

Chalet Master Brewer Aron Deorsey will be serving his handcrafted German Oktoberfest lager, amber in color and well balanced between malt sweetness and hop bitterness (5.4% abv/25 IBUs).

Complementing the musical entertainment and the specialty brews will be the availability of Lake Chalet’s handmade German pretzels. Servers dressed up as Bavarian barmaids will add to the festivities.
